ADHD Assessment (Adults)
ADHD assessments are available for adults seeking clarity around attention, organisation, and executive functioning difficulties.

Paul has completed over 300 ADHD assessments, working closely with GPs and psychiatrists, including a long-standing professional relationship with the Mind Connections Specialist Health Services clinic.

The assessment follows a multi-method, multi-modal approach, meaning conclusions are based on more than one type of information. The assessment involves a comprehensive diagnostic interview (approximately 2 hours), followed by standardised questionnaires (psychometric assessments).
Relying on a single source of information can be misleading. Drawing on multiple sources allows for cross-checking and consistency, leading to a more reliable and clinically defensible outcome. This is considered best practice in psychological assessment.
Following the assessment, a detailed report is provided outlining findings in relation to DSM-5-TR criteria, along with recommendations for next steps. Reports are suitable for interpretation by GPs and psychiatrists for diagnostic confirmation and consideration of treatment options.

Assessments are conducted via video or phone. Reports are typically completed within 7 days of the assessment.

The total fee for the assessment is $1080. A Medicare rebate (approximately $98.95) may be available for part of the assessment where eligible.
