Psychology Support via Medicare

Video or phone appointments are available for a wide range of presentations, from situations that have been building over time to more defined difficulties that are not resolving on their own.

Many people reach out when something has been building for a while, or when things aren’t improving on their own. You don’t need to have a clear explanation or diagnosis before starting.

Since 2013 I've worked with clients experiencing, often in combination:

  • Burnout

  • Depression (Depressive symptoms, major depressive episodes, etc.)

  • Anxiety (including social anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, panic attacks, specific phobias, etc.)

  • Adjustment disorders,

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Insomnia

  • Trauma (including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)

  • (As well as other psychological presentations)

My approach is flexible rather than formulaic: we clarify what is happening now, identify the patterns that keep it in place, and work toward restoring direction, stability, and confidence. To support this process I draw on a broad range of evidence-based approaches to best meet your needs; including psycho-education, CBT, ACT, SFBT, MBCT, and other modalities.

With a valid Mental Health Care Plan and GP referral, Medicare rebates apply (approx. $98.95 per session) and are typically received within 1–2 business days after the session. A temporary $40 discount is currently applied to the standard session fee.
